WHAT WE DO
Ryker’s Rainbow supports bereaved families who suffer the loss of a newborn or infant by offering meaningful keepsakes and gifts of remembrance. We do this through a curated gift box which includes a number of hand-picked items. We know what it is like to leave the hospital with empty arms. The pain is indescribable. Our hope is that families will feel the love and support of their community in the gifted keepsakes.
Financial assistance is available for families to aid in the cost of burial, medical expenses, night nurses or other expenses related to their loss, and in January of 2022 we began our sibling support initiative.
Our bereavement boxes are currently given to families who suffer a loss while in the care of Huntsville Hospital, Madison Hospital, Decatur-Morgan Hospital, Athens-Limestone Hospital, Marshall Medical Centers, Highlands Medical Center, Cullman Regional and Crestwood Hospital. However, we serve any family that we are connected with.
